In this show you will hear recordings from Indonesia, which in one case deal with Dutch colonial history and in the other case emerged from a self-help organization, the new album by the Italian producer Khalab, which is dripping with Afro-futurism, the summer hit of the year from the island of La Reunion, experimental and noisy sounds from the Arabic region, a whole lot of different string instruments from East and West Africa and re-released recordings from the legendary Congolese Ngoma label.
